China plays a pivotal role in the world's scientific and technological development. In recent years, China has been raising its investment in scientific and technological development and has achieved numerous world-class successes. As a manufacturer of X-ray detectors and electron detectors, DECTRIS has witnessed the growth of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility, Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility, National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, and the countless scientific successes of Chinese scientists. China has never stopped its march toward science. HEPS, Shenzhen Light Source, and many others are being planned to take China's scientific and technological development to the next level.

Chinese customers are one of our valuable and important customers. Over the past 15 years, DECTRIS has maintained close communication and cooperation with the Chinese industrial and synchrotron radiation community. We are committed to supporting scientists, OEMs and distributors with optimal scientific equipment, and technical and commercial advice.

In 2022, we set up a China team at our headquarters in Switzerland dedicated to Chinese customers. The team consists of five people from different fields such as sales, marketing, technology, science, and support. Our China team is committed to working with our distributors to provide the most professional technical, scientific and commercial services to our Chinese customers. We sincerely look forward to further cooperating and communicating.
