The 15th annual symposium of the Southeast Regional Collaborative Access Team (SER-CAT) of the Advanced Photon Source (APS) will be held on 13 April 2018 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. The meeting will feature talks on groundbreaking research at SER-CAT’s beam lines, new technologies and complementary methods, presentations by young scientists, and a poster session.
The symposium will be preceded by a half-day workshop dedicated to the latest addition to the SER-CAT beamlines, the DECTRIS EIGER X 16M. Best practices for data collection, processing, analysis, transfer and storage will be discussed. DECTRIS USA general manager Pascal Hofer will give a presentation on the detector and our American subsidiary and will be present for discussions and questions throughout the symposium.
